NCTA 2019 Horse of the Year Awards

Each year, NCTA honors the North Carolina owners, breeders and trainers who support the sport of Thoroughbred racing by producing, training and racing these equine athletes.

We also support after-track careers by participating in The Jockey Club's Thoroughbred Incentive Program, providing recognition for horses, owners and riders who help these marvelous horses succeed in second careers such as jumpers, hunters, eventers and dressage horses.
